Experience the Real – World Learning

The IT Engineering Diploma Course is a comprehensive two-year residential program offered at Meth Bo Sewana International Meditation Center. All enrolled students receive full provisions, including food and accommodation, with all expenses, including tuition fees and examination costs, being generously covered by the Nalanda Foundation. Throughout the entire duration of the diploma course, students enjoy free education.

A typical day for our students commences at 4.30 am with an invigorating yoga session. Following this, from 6.30 am to 8.30 am, students actively participate in daily cleaning tasks and enjoy a nourishing breakfast. The academic segment of the day, spanning from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, is devoted to engaging lectures and academic programs. From 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm, students have the opportunity to partake in a variety of extracurricular activities, including the media unit, music circle, gavel club, various sports, and more. After 6.30 pm, students retreat to their hostels, where they dine and engage in focused individual study sessions. Furthermore, IUHS – Nalanda campus organizes numerous music events, sports tournaments, and skill development workshops, offering students ample opportunities to enhance their skills and make the most of their leisure time. Additionally, students enjoy 10 days of semester breaks every 3 months, allowing them to visit their homes and then return to the campus. The program spans two years, divided into four semesters.

The academic curriculum has been meticulously crafted by a distinguished panel of scholars and industry experts, led by Prof. Samantha Thelijjagoda. Prof. Thelijjagoda, a distinguished professor in Information Systems Engineering at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) in Malabe, currently serves as the Dean of SLIIT Business School.
